How often do customers contact you routinely for questions related to price and availability? This video is designed to demonstrate how our Equip solution can be used to very quickly get price and availability when a customer knows a part number.
If you look at the top of the screen here we have what we call our global search bar, and as I start typing any two characters it’s going to search across our database of part numbers. Which would be your product catalog and it’s going to predictively determine which products I’m looking for, and as I continue to type in my part number, you’ll notice that once it has an exact match it’s going to display an image a description, and the part number.
After I click on that part number it’s going to open to the item detail page where customers can access any information related to that particular product. And from here it did make a call to your ERP system so customers have confidence that they’re getting their contract pricing. In this case my price would be $199.00 and there are 100 in stock. From here I could add the item to my shopping cart and be on my way.
