GenAlpha provides technology solutions for B2B sales and digital parts catalogue generation (“Technology Solutions”), as well as, B2B consulting services (collectively, Technology Solutions and consulting services are referred to herein as (“Services”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) defines how GenAlpha collects, uses, and stores personal information it obtains from users of GenAlpha’s Services. The Policy applies to all personal information received by GenAlpha in the United States from users of the GenAlpha website (www.genalpha.com) (“Site”) and GenAlpha Services. The users include clients of GenAlpha Services (“GenAlpha Merchants”) and customers of GenAlpha Merchants using GenAlpha Services (“GenAlpha Merchant Customer”).

GenAlpha Client Restrictions
GenAlpha Merchants offering a GenAlpha Technology Solution are required to provide “Terms of Use” on their GenAlpha Technology Solution website. The “Terms of Use” must define their privacy policy and comply with the laws applicable to the GenAlpha Merchant business. These GenAlpha Merchants also agree to obtain consent from GenAlpha Merchant Customers (their customers) for the use and access to Personal Information by GenAlpha. In addition, GenAlpha prohibits the collection of sensitive Personal Information by GenAlpha Merchants.
Information Collected and Use
The following information may be collected by GenAlpha Merchants using the Services:

GenAlpha Merchant employee name, company name, company address, email address, and phone number(s) of client employees who administer the site or use the site to purchase products on behalf of others. This information is used to provide access to site functions and to communicate transactions performed on the site.

GenAlpha Merchant Customer name, company name, company address, email, shipping and billing address, phone number, and payment details (including credit card information). This information is used by GenAlpha Merchants to provide services, including supporting and processing orders, authentication of payments, and processing of payments.

Browsing information from all GenAlpha-hosted webpages. The information may include account access patterns, including information about the device and browser, network connections and your IP address. This information is collected to provide analytics that enable GenAlpha Merchants and GenAlpha to improve their services and business operations.

7. Third Parties
GenAlpha works with contracted third parties to provide supporting functions to their Technology Solutions and Site. During the course of providing the additional functions GenAlpha may share Personal Information with them to support these efforts.

8. Termination of Services
GenAlpha will continue to store archived copies of collected personal information for legitimate business purposes and to comply with the law. We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, and other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it. In addition, GenAlpha will continue to store anonymous information, such as website visits, without identifiers, in order to improve its Services.
9. Restrictions
GenAlpha will never share, disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise provide Personal Information to other companies for the marketing of their own products or services.

GenAlpha abides by industry standards on information security management to safeguard sensitive information, such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details, and any other Personal Information entrusted to us. Its information security systems apply to people, processes, and information technology systems on a risk management basis.

Payment gateway service providers integrated with GenAlpha are certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant service provider, which is the highest level of compliance available, and our platform is audited annually by a third-party qualified security assessor.

Data center hosting providers used to host GenAlpha Services are ISO 27001 certified.

Technology development partners comply with industry standards for the development of secure websites.

GenAlpha services are provided via Secure Socket Layer transmission. Further, we follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. That said, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
11. Cross Border Information Protection
While GenAlpha is a United States company, we provide services to customers and our technology processes data from users around the world. Our servers are located in the United States. If you are accessing our Sites from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored and processed by us in our facilitates and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information with. Accordingly, GenAlpha may transmit your personal information outside of the country, state, or province in which you are located.

GenAlpha and its contracted third parties complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework ("EU-U.S. DPF") and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework ("Swiss-U.S. DPF") as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce (collectively, "Data Privacy Framework"). GenAlpha has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles ("EU-U.S. DPF Principles") with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union. GenAlpha has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles ("Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles") with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF.
If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern.
